Hurtig was in fine form during his inagural weekend with the Broncos.
Though the team dropped both games to the Red Deer College Kings, Hurtig showed his volleyball potential by finishing the weekend with a team-high 14 kills.
Hurtig also contributed with four blocks, featuring in the starting lineup in both games.
Allen-Gullion was a force to be reckoned with for the Broncos this past weekend at the North vs. South tournament in Edmonton.
Against Lakeland on Friday, Allen-Gullion put 19 points on the board to go along with seven rebounds. The following day she posted a double-double, scoring 17 points to go along with 13 rebounds, helping the Broncos take down the host NAIT Ooks.
The past weekend is a good indication of Allen-Gullion's game as of late, playing key minutes for the team as they look to add to their four game winning streak against Medicine Hat this weekend.
