Wonder what it looks like behind the scenes at collegiate athletic events?

Want a chance at a tuition credit while gaining athletics administration, hosting and/or statistical skills? 

By filling out this form you are expressing interest in assisting with BRONCOS GAME DAY EXPERIENCE! 

The Olds College Broncos compete in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference and continuously strive to represent Olds College and the ACAC in league, conference and National competitions.

The role of Game Day Ambassador will assist in putting on an exciting, fun, safe and organized experience for players, coaches, officials and spectators!

The Game Day Ambassador program will allow participants to gain valuable event management experience in a fast-paced, fun volunteer experience. Ambassadors that remain committed to their role and complete their duties will receive  an official Co-Curricular Record that showcases the skills and competencies learned, game day uniform and an honorarium that will be applied to your Olds College Student Account.

Submissions received prior to October 1, 2019 will be given priority over positions available

All successful ambassadors will be expected to be available for training opportunities and scheduled games.

Game Day Positions Available

  1. Varsity Sport Coordinator
    The Varsity Sport Coordinator is responsible for all game-day operations, providing exceptional customer service to fans, visiting teams, officials and enhancing the Broncos fan experience.! View Job Description

  2. ACACTV Production Play by Play and Colour Commentary
    The successful on-air personality will be the voice of the Olds College Broncos and have the responsibility of speaking in a professional manner, representative of both Olds College and Broncos Athletics. View Job Description

  3. Minor Sport Officials
    The Minor Officials role is to ensure the correct statistics are recorded and documented, and that the scores are posted on the scoreboard appropriately. View Job Description

  4. Games Day Personalities
    Games Day Personalities will be responsible for game day operations such as team mascot and announcer/DJ roles. View Job Description

  5. Admissions Personnel
    Reporting to the Events and Promotions Programmer, and working in coordination with the Varsity Sport Coordinators, the Admissions and Retail Personnel will be responsible for game day operations. View Job Description

  6. ACACTV Producers and Videographers
    Reporting to the Events and Promotions Programmer, and working in coordination with the Varsity Sport Coordinators, the successful candidates will host live ACAC TV broadcasts on game nights at Olds College. View Job Description
