Bio

After previously serving as Athletics Information Officer for Olds College for the 2018-19 season, Geordie Carragher returned to the Broncos as their Sports Information Coordinator in June 2022, and is also tasked with getting the Broncos' new esports program up and running.

The Stratford, P.E.I. native's career has seen him cross the country on multiple occasions, with his first post-secondary employment coming with the University of Northern British Columbia as the Timberwolves' Sports Information Officer for the 2015-16 season, and most recently as the Communications Coordinator for the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association for the 2021-22 season. He has also been involved with multiple national championships in different capacities in his career, most recently serving as the Live Stream Producer for the 2022 CCAA Women's Volleyball National Championship, which was hosted by Holland College in Charlottetown.

Carragher's interests have also pushed into the content creation space, having served as the live stream producer for the Charlottetown Bulk Carriers Knights of the NB-PEI Major U18 Hockey League for the past two seasons, as well as being a co-operator of the Canadian eMotorsports Network, an online racing series, for the past two years.

From an education perspective, Carragher holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Prince Edward Island, a Journalism diploma from Holland College, in which time he earned the Atlantic Journalism Award Student Prize of Excellence, as well as a post-secondary Sports Journalism certificate from Centennial College. His next planned educational pursuit is a certificate in Global Esports Management certification from the University of Miami.
